Eduardo Cachucho – Creative Director
I’m Eduardo Cachucho, the Creative Director for the Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival. I’m a programme consultant, artist, and ex-architect. I have worked in digital innovation in the creative sector for over a decade both locally and internationally, believing that digital creative practices are the key to sustainable empowerment in South Africa and across the countries of Africa.
Sino Nompunga – Project Manager
Hi, my name is Sino Nomphunga. I’m the Project Manager for the Fak’ugesi 2022. I’m from Ebhayi and I’m a gamer at heart. Versatile in any environment.
With 9 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer has combined project management under my belt to execute my work and leave a defined footprint of excellence in what I touch, which I have utilized since joining Tshimologong for Fak’ugesi Digital Innovation Festival in 2021 as the Festival’s star player Project Management

Neo Kgawane – Project Coordinator
Hi, my name is Neo Kgawane I’m the Project Coordinator for the Fak’ugesi festival. I’m a combination of loud and crazy. I’m a freelance Director’s Assistant, Creative Producer, and Production Coordinator for both animation and live production. I believe in the art of being there, to experience the creative combination of music, TV, film, images, and art.
I describe Faku’gesi as an ‘open space for collaboration, I’m thinking innovation and out of the box creativity.
Nontokozo Qhobosheane – Communications Intern
Hi, I’m Nontokozo Qhobosheane and I am the Fak’ugesi communications intern at the Fak’ugesi African Digital Festival. I am a singer, songwriter, music producer, and lover of popcorn. I studied for a BA in Live Performance and take pride in celebrating African culture through music and art.
I describe Faku’gesi as Pan-African, Creative and Innovative.
Itumeleng Tinise – Communications Design Intern
Hi, my name is Itumeleng Tinise. I’m the communications design intern for the Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival. I’m part of the team behind the design and visual communications that all Fak’ugesi fans and festivalgoers consume.
With a few years of freelance design experience behind me, I take that experience and apply it to Fak’ugesi’s brand image.
Bohlale Kobe – Data Analyst Intern
Hello, my name is Bohlale Kobe and I am the Data Analyst for Fak’ugesi. In my spare time, I volunteer for a community engagement programme weekly. I have worked in the tech and art industry which is where my passion lies: ArtTech. I’m highly enthusiastic about digital art, the art market, and how the metaverse operates. Some of my interests are in NFTs and DeFi services as well as data science. I believe that there is a lot of talent to be harnessed in Africa with regard to ArtTech projects and organizations.
