Brief: WRITE 1 poem / spoken word piece, 3 stanzas. The poem

should be a call to action for people to join the AFRO TECH RIOT.

Concept: It’s the year 2016, the year that the Fak’ugesi African

Digital Innovation Festival electrifies the energetic techno-sphere

of Johannesburg to sieze technology and creativity by Africans for

Africa.

Prize: Technology Prize, a tablet device valued R3 000 to R4 000.

We call it the AFRO TECH RIOT and this year we amp up radical new African visions of community, spirituality and the feminine. Lets play, make, shift and share through seminars, talks, exhibitions, game arcades, workshops, performances, innovation riots, parties and future sounds.
