As the cultural agency of the Embassy of France in South Africa, the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS) is the operator of the cultural activities of France abroad. IFAS is a platform for cooperation, encouraging cultural diversity and exchanges between South Africa, France and the rest of the African continent. The creative industries projects develop links and long-term partnerships between South Africa and France in the fields of innovation, training, storytelling, production, distribution, professional markets, public policies and regulation frameworks.
