The public is invited to help assemble the simple educational robot kits, then connect and control them with their smartphone’s. After the event the robots will involved in an interactive kinematic art installation at the Ithuba Arts Gallery in Braamfontein, before being distributed through the South African Maker Collective members around South Africa. The Robot project is made possible by the generous sponsorship from British Council Connect ZA, The South African Maker Collective and Derivco.
