Stefanie Kastner studied librarianship and graduated with a Master of Media Research at HDM Stuttgart in Germany. She was Director of the Public Library of Stadtlohn for 5 years. She worked for the Goethe-Institut as Head of the Information Department in the Netherlands, in Algeria, in Ivory Coast and in Brazil. Stefanie has been with the Goethe-Institut Johannesburg since May 2017 and is responsible for the information work in Sub-Saharan Africa.
