Accomplished media, arts and culture professional, Nicolas Doyard started his career in the TV industry in France, where he spent 6 years, first as a video and sound technician, and then as production manager for documentaries. After graduating from Sciences Po Paris with an MBA, he then joined the French cultural network in Africa, first as an international expert seconded to the public national broadcaster in Namibia, and then as regional audiovisual attaché for Southern Africa, based in Johannesburg.

Back to France six years later, he coordinated the South African Season in France on behalf of the South African government, and then joined the Seasons department at Institut Francais two years later, where he was responsible for performing arts and music projects for the France-Korea Year, the France-Colombia Year, the French Season in Croatia and the Singapore Festival in France. After 2 years at Institut Francais, he was appointed director of the Franco-Guinean Cultural Centre, in Conakry, for 3 years. He is now back again in Paris, and currently the Manager of Digital Lab Africa.
