Lesaoana Makotoko is an award-winning writer and creative director from Johannesburg, South Africa. He was the founder and editor-in-chief of SA’s first ever online multi-university publication, Varsity Breakout. As a creative director, he has vast experience creating breakthrough integrated campaigns for both large multi-national brands such as MTN and Standard Bank as well as smaller challenger brands such as Joburg Ballet and OneCart. He brings his high digital acumen to all projects he works on and is most concerned with digital innovation and the new possibilities technology affords communications. His commentary writing has also featured in highly revered publications such as City Press and Sowetan.
