I was born in a tiny town in the Vaal called Henley on Klip; a small tucked away place buzzing with artists. Growing up and being surrounded by such amazing talents, I took to art with feverish enthusiasm. Over the years I developed a deep love and appreciation for animation, and decided to pursue it after high school. I graduated from AFDA with a Bachelors in Motion Picture, majoring in Animation and Screenwriting. I dove headfirst into the industry as a freelance storyboard artist for four years and this afforded me the chance to work with a variety of studios, both nationally and internationally. This journey led me to joining the Tshimologong team, where I now train young artists how to upskill in the animation industry, I plan one day to open a development studio for those who have the talent but not the financial means to get into animation.
