I am an animator and development artist. I started out like many artists drawing way more than anything else at school. My interest for storytelling came across early as I very quickly, at the age of 8, started drawing comic strips and eventually comic books. Fast forwards 20 years, I now have a Bachelor of Fine Arts honours degree and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Digital Animation both from Wits University. I’ve worked with some of South Africa’s leading animation studios including Bugbox Animation, Luma Animation and Mind’s Eye Creative as a character animator. I have recently been involved in a visual development internship programme at the Tshimologong Precinct as an assistant art director.
