Sign up to develop solutions for the media & creative industry. AnimationSA and Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival collaborate in 2019 to focus on blockchain solutions for the creative and cultural sector.
The Creative Industries Blockchain hack-a-thon will act to brainstorm and prototype solutions to challenges faced by the creative and cultural industries such as licensing, smart contracting, IP/copyright, asset tracking, trademark, etc.
This is an invitation to two primary groups: blockchain developers / coders, legal practitioners & all forms of innovators within the creative sector with an interest in the possibilities of blockchain.
The focus will be on solutions for creative and culture sectors specifically. The hack-a-thon aims to both introduce cultural and creative practitioners to block-chain technologies and begin work between blockchain coders and creative / cultural practitioners to explore and prototype solutions. Trainers from CoinEd will work with teams to introduce and unpack both the fundamentals and complexities of blockchain and its use for the creative industries.
