This is a capacity building workshop with the objective of helping digital artists in Africa build viable and sustainable businesses from their art. The program entails bringing together artists from the fields of animation, illustration, gaming and comics to collaborate as well as share business skills and knowledge for the development of African digital arts. The workshop is designed to help digital creatives develop a business plan by exploring ideas and creating unique business models that will help transform their artistic skill sets into successful enterprises.The key topics that will be covered include:
• The business of being a creative
• Creative planning and developing concepts that sell
• The art of selling your art
The sessions will include practical group work where participants must develop and pitch a business model that commercialises their collaborative skill sets.

Keith Kuhudzai: Comexposed Executive Producer, Consummate entrepreneur and starter of things, Keith Kuhudzai is behind business ventures in media, arts and entertainment. He is the co-founder of Kay Media Africa the proprietor of digital media brands such as www.comexposed.com , www.sigmadigital-studio.com and www.radiant-culture.com . Keith is a proficient music and video producer as well as an accomplished event producer. He combines these skills well with astute business acumen to lead Kay Media Africa and in delivering value to its clients.
Tinodiwa Zambe-Makoni: Comexposed Community Director, Founder of CCX Comics and creator of The Gift & GUNDOG, Zimbabwe’s first nationally distributed action comic book. Tinodiwa has over 14 years experience as a character designer, illustrator and creative consultant. He is a co-founder of Comexposed, having played a key role in building the community of digital creatives and fans that make Comexposed what it is today. If Comexposed was to be described as a human, then Tinodiwa is the Soul of the organisation.
