For the first time in 2017 Fak’ugesi Festival will have a dedicated New Media and Technology Art Exhibition focusing on digital practices in Africa.
Opening on the 8th Sept. The exhibition is a dedicated New Media and Technology Art Exhibition focusing on digital art practices in Africa. Exhibition to include:
Fak’ugesi Digital Africa Residency; VR Films from Kenya, Ghana and Senegal “New Dimensions” presented by Electric South and the Goethe-Institut; new collaboration with Nonku Phiri, All Hail the Honey’s Rendani Nemakhavhani; artists Tabita Rezaire, Brooklyn J. Pakathi, Rick Treweek, Anthea Pokroy; and a special showcase of “Painting with Music” by Yann Seznec and Cukia Kimani in partnership with the British Council ConnectZA
