ColabNowNow, by British Council ConnectZA


British Council Connect ZA in a larger collaborative engagement hosts 10 artists and 5 digital storytellers selected from across Southern Africa, East Africa, West Africa and the UK to participate in cutting edge program of making, learning and networking.

ColabNowNow is a platform for collaboration to showcase innovative interdisciplinary digital work. Artists and storytellers will engage a 10 day programme, curated and led by Kenyan Digital Artist and writer Jepchumba that will manifest at the Fak’ugesi Bloc Party on Saturday the 16th of September.

Here are the 15 creatives from East Africa, West Africa, Southern Africa and the UK who will be taking part in ColabNowNow during the Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival 2017!

About Jepchumba ColabNowNow Leader: Kenyan born, Jepchumba is the founder and creative director of African Digital Art ( She is a cultural ambassador who travels the world sharing her views on African art and technology. She was listed as one of the 20 Youngest Power Women in Africa 2012 by Forbes, as well as Africa’s Top 25 Women Achievers by the Guardian.
